What iPad Apps Am I Using On My iPad Pro 2022

For the longest time I had my iPad Pro and hadn’t used it in a year or so. I got this iPad Pro from my aunt since she had ordered the newest one at the time, so I was a bit lucky.

I was not really into the whole iPad idea back then. In my opinion, the iPad apps in the App Store weren’t as developed as they are now.

Thinking back, I started using it to watch Netflix and then started to discover how nice it was to actually use and all the different things you could do with it. This is where I started to use my iPad Pro almost daily.

One of the things that I love about the iPad Pro is the storage space. I still have loads of memory left for any iPad apps I decided to download from the app-store.

Another thing to note is that it’s very responsive, versatile, and light. Sometimes I’m surprised how powerful Apple’s tech is. Since I’ve been using my iPad Pro more often. I’ve decided to share with you all my top five iPad apps.

The 5 iPad Applications I’m Using The Most:

1. LinkedIn (Free)

LinkedIn has been one of my go to iPad apps that I use. Being in my early 20’s (I turn a twenty-five in April, Taurus!) In today’s world, I have noticed how important LinkedIn is for career/networking.

I could be a spokesperson for LinkedIn lol. I’m always pushing my friends and family to really establish a presence on there. It’s that good!

One of the things I like about LinkedIn is how customizable your profile is. It really breaks all your interests up and career goals/pay into consideration. Having everything broken down to your personal liking can be extremely beneficial to finding your career interests sooner than later.

I honestly believe that LinkedIn is such a great space to be involved in. Another benefit to using LinkedIn is the amount of networking that you can do. Networking is a an important skill that I personally think that everyone should learn, LinkedIn makes it easy.

2. Affinity Designer ($21.99)

Affinity Designer iPad app

Affinity Designer is an iPad app that I use to sketch, practice typography, create logo drafts, etc. I gotten into this creative art driven app about a few months ago and it’s still crazy how good it is. If you are into the arts, like drawing, sketching, color patterns, etc. this is app is perfect.

You can also work on social media graphics, web graphics, infographics, etc. Affinity Designer is great for all of that. The app includes over 100 brushes and many design tools, to help make your creation come to life.

The current Affinity Designer app I have is for the iPad, but it was originally a program for PCs (personal computers). They have fine tuned it down to make it available for the iPad.

I started off playing on the iPad and have yet to try it out on my PC. Personally, I really like the iPad app version because using the apple pencil gives it that extra oomph *chefs kiss*. I also would recommend getting a sketching iPad screen protector.

This screen protector gives you the actual feel as if you’re sketching on drawing paper. I’ve learned this is essential if you want your designs to be as precise as you can get it.

Overall, this a great quality design app. It has a boatload of options and tools to tweak and create your perfect design. If you are a creative in any way or want to start somewhere, I’d recommend this app.

3. LoL Wild Rift – iPad App Version (Free)

League of Legend Wild Rift iPad app

Lol Wild Rift is is the second version of the PC game LoL (League of Legends). The game first came out on PC. The fanbase has gotten so huge they made an iPhone and iPad app versions.

I was excited to play these versions for the conveniency. Just being able to pull your phone out ANYWHERE and log on to play is seriously next level in any game via phone or tablet. I can personally say they hit it right on the nail with the app versions of the game.

LoL (League of Legends) Wild Rift is by far, one of the apps I use most on my iPad. It’s a champion focused game that includes different battle platforms worldwide. You play as champions that you can buy or win. Using the coins you get from playing matches and event rewards, you can purchase champions or other unique items.

Game Modes and Ranks

Game Modes

You can then hop into a ranked or normal match. If you are comfortable with the game mechanics, you can dive right in and start dominating. If you think you need some practice, you can practice a certain champion in practice mode.

The two popular game matches are normal and ranked. Normal matches are games that you can play an unlimited amount of without having points deducted. Ranked matches are the games that move you up or down the game tiers.

Ranks

There are 10 ranks with the lowest being Iron and the highest being Challenger. While playing, each tier brings more difficulty but this is also why the game is so fun. LoL Wild Rift has other game modes as well. You can choose game modes such as ARAM, Ultra Rapid Fire, etc.

The creators of LoL Wild Rift made the game, from the start, multiplayer dominant. In each map you have a team of 4 other champions. It’s the same with the team you’re up against unless it is a special game mode.

This game is meant for action fantasy multiplayer fun. All the champions are pretty nice to play with as well. The more you play, the better you become and climbing the ranks becomes actual competitive fun!

4. Amazon Kindle (Free)

Amazon Kidle iPad app

The Amazon kindle iPad app is such a great tool to have. In high school, I was the biggest reader and now I certainly try to pick up a book here and there when I’m not too tired from adulting (boooo!) As we are in the technology era, the kindle app has been right on par.

It has countless amount of books and they make it easy for you to connect your accounts on all of your devices as well. Furthermore, you would be able to go from your iPad to your phone and still be able to read/listen from where you left off.

Kindle Features

The Kindle app has a couple features that I find helpful for readers. Some of the features I use on the Kindle is the light and dark theme. This feature adjusts the screen of the iPad app. If you want to read in the dark, the kindle app screen will shine brighter.

Another feature that I found was pretty helpful is that you can save online web articles so that you can read them offline.

Word Wise

I use this feature quite a lot for saving informative articles or food recipes. The Kindle app also has this feature called “word wise”.

Word wise helps readers understand more challenging words in complex books. If you tap on a word you’ll be able to see the definition, similar words, etc. This will help you understand the context of whatever you are reading.

This app is worth downloading if you are trying to get back into a habit of reading more. Who knows, you might make it a habit. Disconnecting from reality by engaging yourself into good book will do your state of mind some good!

5. Reddit App (Free)

Reddit mobile app

Reddit is a great app that I have on my iPad that, at first, I only used on my MacBook Pro laptop. I accidentally found the website by searching for something randomly specific. Turns out that people on reddit had the answer to it!

I then downloaded the iPad app and started to see Reddit more frequently in the search results on Google and I loved the atmosphere of the site. Everyone is commenting to give advice or sharing their past experiences that will help other readers as well.

I then started to go on Reddit for almost everything when doing research because I loved the personal authentic review aspect.

Personal Aspect

Firstly, no one is trying to mislead you because there’s no angle they are trying to use to get you to buy or fix something a certain way. Just good ol’ opinions/reviews that you can take with a grain of salt of course.

I also used reddit for personal use or just opinions on professional careers, entrepreneurship, etc. Of course you have those trolls, but those posts are usually deleted or very obvious.

There are many groups you can join that sparks your interest. Truth be told, Reddit is also what finally inspired me to start my blog.

I wanted to for so long but just had no idea what to expect. Next, I did my research but wanted personal experiences, failure stories, success stories, what to expect, etc. Now look at us!

Reddit is a great iPad app to have accessible to just do a little more research that adds a hint of a personal experience with it.

Overall:

The iPad Pro 10.5in model is perfect balance between great use for entertainment and productivity. With all of the available iPad apps, you can use your Apple tablet for a wide variety of things for professional and personal use.

These were just a few of the iPad apps that I use frequently, there are so many others that can help your over all iPad tablet experience.

If the iPad may not be your cup of tea, how about taking a look into the MacBook Pro. These two apple products are great powerhouses that are still giving their user a top tier experiences.
