Welcome! I’m Josh and I’m from the great Windy City Chicago. I’m an up-and-coming entrepreneur, tech nerd, semi-fashion enthusiast, and love fitness and health.

I thought I’d share a bit of my background story for you guys. I was originally born in Oceanside, CA. My dad was in the Marines, so we were living on base at the time. I honestly spent maybe 2 years there, before moving to Chicago where the rest of my family lived. I’ve been here ever since. I can say that I do love this city because it has so much to offer and is so culturally diverse.

How the Creativity Blossomed

I’ve always had a thing for the arts/fashion. I loved sketching and I would spend hours on it, which makes a little sense because both my parents could sketch/paint. This is where my creativity began. I soon started to read a lot of books which in the end sparked more of my creative side because I could transport myself into another world. My imagination would run wild.

I started to engage myself in classes in my schools where I could learn different art mediums. From sculpting, charcoal, wire, etc. The I started to take computer programming classes to see if I would like that. Turns out I really enjoyed it, but it was extremely difficult. These have all contributed to some of my current passions I have in life.

I started to really get into technology and loved how websites would look and be so modern. This introduced me to the world of computers. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to build my own website. I can finally say I have and I’ve been enjoying the experience so far!

Mission

I mentioned these interests and a little of my back story because these things have all made who I am today. Then one day I thought, why not put all the things I love into one space, and this is how City Point of View came to be. I hope you get a little bit of enjoyment out of the things I love and sparks an interest in you to take a step into following your dreams and passions.
